A grab bar is only as good as what it's anchored to. Screwed into drywall alone, it will pull out under real weight — exactly when someone needs it most. We anchor into studs, solid blocking, or heavy-duty toggle systems rated for the load, then test each bar before we leave.

WHY ANCHORING MATTERS
A properly installed grab bar should support at least 250 lbs of force in any direction — that's the ADA standard. Drywall anchors alone do not meet it. In tile showers, we drill with a diamond bit to avoid cracking, seal every penetration against water intrusion, and anchor into the framing behind. If there's no stud where the bar needs to go, we use load-rated toggle anchors designed for this purpose or open the wall and add blocking.

Finish: stainless and chrome for wet areas, powder-coated for grip
Texture: knurled or peened finishes give better grip on wet hands

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much does grab bar installation cost?
Most single-bar installations run $125–$175, with additional bars in the same visit at a reduced rate. Tile adds a bit for the specialized drilling.
Can you install a grab bar on tile?
Yes. We use diamond-tipped bits to drill without cracking the tile, and every penetration is sealed with silicone to keep water out of the wall.
What if there's no stud where I need the bar?
We use heavy-duty load-rated anchors designed for grab bars, or we open the wall, install solid blocking, and patch it. We'll tell you which approach your wall needs before starting.
How much weight will it hold?
We install to the ADA standard of 250 lbs of force in any direction, and we test each bar before leaving.
Will it damage my shower or tile?
No. Drilling tile properly is a matter of the right bit and the right speed. We've done it many times and seal everything afterward.
Do you supply the grab bars?
You can buy your own, or we can advise on what to get. We can also pick one up for you at cost plus pickup time.
How high should a grab bar be installed?
ADA guidance is 33"–36" above the floor, but the right height depends on the person using it. We'll set it where it actually helps.
Can you install multiple bars in one visit?
Yes, and it's more economical — additional bars are discounted since most of the cost is the trip out.
How soon can you come?
Same-week appointments are usually available, including evenings and weekends.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — 24 Solve LLC, Washington GC License #24SOLSL*743C5.
